The HOSS K-Tough 6 inch features a full-grain muddy river brown leather upper with an Aramid fiber vamp. Often used in aerospace and military applications, Aramid fibers are durable, making this product ideal for tough environments. With the K-Tough, you get a vamp that is cut, abrasion and chemical resistant. Additional abrasion resistance is provided with a TPU molded toe.

For protection against what might fall from above or roll over toes, an internal composite safety toe cap is ASTM-approved for impact and compression. The composite material weighs less than other protective toe materials on the market.

Be protected from what you step into and onto. The K-Tough meets or exceeds ASTM requirements for electrical hazard resistance, providing a level of protection from live wires, and for puncture-resistance, with a Lenzi plate that protects the soles of your feet from sharp objects. With direct attach welted construction, the outsole will remain firmly attached to the upper. An oil- and slip-resistant Mxgrip rubber/polyurethane outsole provides traction on multiple surfaces, keeping you upright. And a low defined heel helps with climbing.

The K-Tough is comfortable. A waterproof membrane keeps feet dry. Extra depth is built in, giving this boot a roomier feel. For additional comfort, this boot has a removable, contoured insole composed of a rebound foam that maintains shape with daily wear.
